Dieting: Overnight Diet, The: The Proven Plan for Fast, Permanent Weight Loss (edition 2013)by Caroline Apovian, Frances Sharpe (Contributor)This book contains some very good healthy information. It is not a book I would suggest you skipping through and just trying to start. It needs to be read thoroughly before starting the diet plan. It has a lot of good information and with this information it tells you the whys and how’s. Everyone should take notice the books claims you can lose (Up) to 9 pounds per week; although everyone’s body and health is different. Some may lose only one or you may indeed lose the nine pounds. It will also depend on what exercise you get that week ect. I do like the recipes, they seem health and tasty although, some of the ingredients and the amount of ingredients could be costly and time consuming to shop and prepare for. There are shorts cuts like fixing a head and then warming it up. There is a website included in the book where you can order the smoothies off of and have them delivered. The cost was very reasonable and would cut down on the amount of preparation time. This diet does concentrate on a high protein intake. This can cause some problems and could be adjusted to your own health needs. This is NOT the diet for a vegetarian. You also do NOT have to count calories which are a blessing; however after counting calories for so long, it almost comes natural. This seems like the perfect diet for men, as many love meat! I received this book via goodreads and appreciate the chance to take advantage of the information listed in it. |
